Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation

Early in 2003, the Board of Directors of the Auto Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia (ADAGP), producer of the Philadelphia Auto Show, voted to formalize its charitable efforts by establishing the Auto Dealers CARing For Kids Foundation. Since that year, the Foundation has made $18.2 million in grants to local children’s charities and programs. The ADAGP and its Foundation have been supporting to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia since 1986. Cumulative giving to the Hospital is now more than $10 million. These funds support the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Patient Welcome Center and directly benefit several departments within the Hospital.

In addition to its generosity to the Hospital, the Foundation began its New Coat Program in 2008. With support from 180 local new car dealerships, this program has warmed the hearts of more than 675,000 local children in need with the gift of a new winter coat.
