The Black Tie Tailgate returns for an un-fur-gettable night at the Philadelphia Auto Show. Guests will dine and dance the night away as they enjoy the latest and greatest from today’s auto industry, all while supporting Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Valet parking will be available to all guests at the Broad Street Entrance of the PA Convention Center (between Arch and Race Streets) for $50.
SELF-PARKING
Self-parking is available at the following locations and prices:
– $24 at Parkway Garage (12th & Filbert Streets – entrances on 12th, Arch, Filbert, & 13th)*
– $17 at Parkway Garage (150 N. Broad Street – Broad & Race)*
– $14 at Convention Center Parking Facility (1324 Arch Street)

A block of rooms will be available at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown at a special rate of $134/night for Black Tie Tailgate attendees (taxes and $72.00 valet parking fee not included). Reservations must be made by January 7 to receive this special rate, but this block always sells out, so be sure to make your reservations early!
Event FAQs
The Black Tie Tailgate runs from 7pm to 11:30pm.
The main, red carpet entrance to the event is at the Convention Center’s Broad Street entrance between Arch and Race Streets. Other entrances are located at 12th & Arch Street (west side) and the Grand Hall (Marriott Skybridge). Coat check and customer service are available inside each entrance.
Yes! The entire auto show is open for the Black Tie Tailgate. The e-Tracks, Camp Jeep, and Custom Alley are open for limited hours, from 7pm-10pm.
All tickets are sold through our online ticketing partner. You may purchase your tickets on your smartphone when you arrive at the event, but we recommend purchasing in advance for easiest access.
Children are not encouraged to attend, although children under age two will be admitted free of charge. Children over the age of two need a ticket for admission. There is no discounted ticket price for children.
Discounted self-parking is available the night of Black Tie Tailgate for $24 at Parkway Garage (12th & Filbert Streets), $17 at Parkway Garage (150 N. Broad Street), and $14 at Convention Center Parking Facility (1324 Arch Street). See customer service at the event for a parking voucher to receive the discounted rate at the Parkway Garages.
Valet parking is available to all guests for $50. The valet parking entrance is on Broad Street between Arch and Race Streets. Sorry, no overnight parking.
Dress to be photographed in black tie attire. Comfortable shoes and a light jacket or wrap are recommended.
Tuxedos are not required; a suit or sport coat and tie are acceptable attire.
No, it is a moving cocktail party on the floor of the Auto Show throughout the Pennsylvania Convention Center. There will be food stations and unreserved tables and chairs set up throughout the event.
A variety of food stations will be located throughout the main floor of the event, including vegan and gluten-free options. Desserts will be served in the Grand Ballroom starting at 9pm.
Dance to the sounds of Jellyroll on the main stage. Other entertainment will be located throughout the event.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Department of Nursing & Clinical Care Services at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as well as the Welcome & Admissions Center at Middleman Family Pavilion on CHOP’s King of Prussia Campus.
