What is it?

The Philadelphia Auto Show has been educating and entertaining consumers since 1902. With the latest new vehicles from major brands, plus classic, exotic, modified and custom vehicles on display, it offers something for everyone.

Who does it reach?

The Philadelphia Auto Show attracts a wide range of attendees from all demographics. The average post-Covid attendance is 143,198. You can find a demographic breakdown here.

When is it?

The Philadelphia Auto Show is held annually in Q1 (typically January/February timeframe) and spans 9 – 10 public show days. The 2025 Philadelphia Auto Show is scheduled for January 11-20.

Where is it?

The Philadelphia Auto Show is held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Center City Philadelphia.

What is it?

Custom Alley is the premier indoor custom car show on the East Coast and has been an integral feature of the Philadelphia Auto Show since 2022. It spans more than 100,000 square feet and features distinctive vehicles and displays showcasing the hottest trends on the automotive scene.

Who does it reach?

23% of 2024 Auto Show attendees reported that they came specifically for Custom Alley. The show appeals to a wide range of automotive enthusiasts and general show-goers alike.

When is it?

Custom Alley takes place annually in conjunction with the Philadelphia Auto Show. Beginning in 2025, we will proudly host a second Custom Alley standalone show in October.

Where is it?

Custom Alley at the Philadelphia Auto Show takes place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. The new, second Custom Alley show will take place in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

What is it?

The Greater Philadelphia Auto Technology Competition (Tech Comp) began in 1993 to build awareness for the important role of auto technicians in the workforce and promote auto technology as a wise career choice. The competition is made up of two parts: a qualifying exam and a hands-on competition. During the hands-on portion, participants perform a Multi-Point Inspection of a previously-bugged vehicle and test their knowledge at 10 workstations ranging from engine mechanical to communication skills.

Who does it reach?

Tech Comp brings together all segments of the automotive industry, from students and training schools, to new car dealerships and manufacturers, to automotive vendors and suppliers.

When is it?

The qualifying exam will take place on January 14, and the hands-on competition is scheduled for March 7.

Where is it?

The qualifying exam will be held in conjunction with the Philadelphia Auto Show’s Tech Tuesday events at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The hands-on competition will be held at Automotive Training Center’s Warminster Campus.
